The LUM Emergency Shelter is open with a strict protocol for intake, check in, food service, and sleeping arrangements, which requires cleaning supplies, bleach, soap, masks, gloves, and specialized equipment such as thermometers and portable sinks. If you, your church, company, or family wish to make a cash donation or a donation of "needed items" to the LUM Emergency Shelter, click here.

Support LTHC Homeless Services

LTHC needs donations of goods and money to help support those suffering from housing insecurity and homelessness in Greater Lafayette. The following items are greatly needed:

  • Food at the Engagement Center: LTHC is continuing to serve meals daily (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) to the approximately 85 people sheltering-in-place at the Engagement Center. Items such as bulk/large sized shelf stable items, pantry items, meats, and dairy are needed. We can also take prepared side dishes if they are well packaged and labeled.

  • Food for those in Housing: LTHC is temporarily providing food to folks we have in housing – these items should be shelf-stable, family-sized items.

  • Household supplies: LTHC can always use items like toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, paper plates, napkins, plastic flatware, and cups.

  • Hygiene supplies: At this time, LTHC needs travel-sized hygiene items for our Engagement Center guests only.

  • Clothing: LTHC accepts donations of new underwear and socks only.

LTHC also needs cash donations. Unrestricted resources allow LTHC to be flexible in meeting needs that arise. Click here to donate to LTHC.

Donations may be delivered directly at Door #4 on 13th Street. Ordered items may be delivered to LTHC, 815 North 12th, Lafayette, IN 47904.
