Wednesday Evening Book Group: Our current book is So Help Me God: The Founding Fathers and the First Great Battle Over Church and State, by Forrest Church. We’ll discuss the second half of the book (chapters 8-14, pp. 223-449) this Wednesday, January 25, 7:00 pm, here at the church. Our February book will be Did My Neurons Make Me Do It? Philosophical and Neurobiological Perspectives on Moral Responsibility and Free Will, by Nancey Murphy and Warren S. Brown. Please take a moment to sign up to read the lessons, count the collection, distribute Communion, put out the candles, or pass out bulletins. It helps Sunday mornings go just a little more smoothly. The sign-up sheets are on the bulletin board in the foyer.

Wondering what to do with that old cell phone? Why not donate it to a good cause? Any old cell phones donated to the Lafayette YWCA will be programmed to dial 9-1-1 and given to at-risk individuals to be used in times of emergency. It could save a life! A box for donating old cell phones is located in the church foyer. Thank you to Ruth Dowden for the donation box!
